About me

I am an Australian Counselling Association registered and qualified counsellor with experience in private practice and school settings, supporting adults, young people, and families through periods of change and challenge. I take a thoughtful, reflective approach, helping clients gain insight, explore practical strategies, and feel heard and understood.

I bring more than 25 years experience in therapy and education and draw upon evidence-based methods while using a compassionate, client-centred approach. I am known for my reliability, adaptability, and genuine care, and provide support that is both professional and personal, guiding clients and colleagues alike with patience and understanding.

About the practice

I provide steady, thoughtful support to individuals, families, and fellow practitioners or educators—helping people make sense of complex pressures and move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Who I support

Alongside counselling for adolescents, adults, and families, I offer professional supervision and reflective practice for educators, counsellors, and staff working in safeguarding and student wellbeing. These two streams share a common aim: to strengthen the people and relationships at the heart of every learning community.

Professional supervision focusing on reflective practice, practitioner wellbeing, and effective responses to crises and demanding cases, with attention to the organisational pressures and workplace uncertainties that often shape a counsellor’s capacity for self-care.
(55 minutes per session)

Individual counselling
$120.00

Sessions provide a safe, supportive space where clients are heard and understood. The focus is on helping clients explore issues of importance to them, facilitating insight, and discussing practical strategies. Support is offered with care and patience, whether for an adult navigating change or a young person facing a difficult period.
(55 minute online sessions)

Working with families
$150.00

Supporting an adolescent often involves working with the whole family. I work with parents and carers to navigate challenges such as mental health concerns, bullying, school adjustment, and personal difficulties, offering guidance on how to support their child effectively. This can include liaising with schools, exploring strategies at home, and helping families feel more confident in their approach. While most support is provided online, there is potential for in-person sessions on a case-by-case basis where appropriate. (75-90 minutes per session)

Professional Registration and Practice
I am a Registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), providing individual and family support through online counselling. My practice operates under regular professional supervision and adheres to the ACA Code of Ethics. Client privacy and confidentiality are strictly maintained in line with professional standards and Australian privacy law.

Please note that online counselling has some limitations. In the case of an emergency or immediate risk, clients should contact local emergency services.
